Hopleaf Bar Manager
We are seeking an outgoing, friendly, and motivated individual to take on a bar leadership role in our unique open-air, multi-level bar and restuarant, featuring a seasonal patio. This position is ideal for someone who values genuine hospitality, thrives in a fast paced environment and is committed to preserving the traditions that have made Hopleaf a destination for more than 30 years, while helping us into the next year and beyond.
Located in Andersonville, Hopleaf has been recognized for more than 30 years for exceptional hospitality, an outstanding craft beer program, a carefully curated wine and spirits selection, and thoughtfully prepared food. We are looking for a bar manager who shares our commitment to outstanding guest service, operational excellence, and employee development.
Qualified candidates should possess:
- Experience in a fast-paced, service-focused bar.
- A genuine passion for hospitality and building lasting relationships with guests.
- Strong beverage and food knowledge, along with a curiosity to continue learning about wine, beer, and spirits.
- Experience with draft systems is a plus.
- Bartending and serving skills are a must.
- Experience with staff training, coaching, and implementing systems.
- Experience with reservation systems.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and late nights as needed.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and team-building abilities.
- Provide shift coverage when needed.
