Facility Mechanic

About The Role We’re looking for a dedicated Facility Mechanic to join our team and help us continue delivering the level of care our patients and families deserve. In this role, you’ll be a vital part of our engineering team, ensuring excellent service, collaboration, and patient outcomes in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Monitor Work Order system, complete work orders, responds to trouble calls and provides resolution Follows department Safety policies including the Lockout/ Tagout procedures. Performs Preventive maintenance work orders/ room and door inspections; completes required documentation. Repairs wheelchairs, stretchers, hospital beds, tables, chairs and other equipment as needed. Performs regular equipment rounds and logs results Responds to hospital emergencies such as fire drills, internal disaster, snow storms, etc. Reports to supervisor on a regular basis regarding the performance of equipment and service activities. What You Bring High School Graduate or equivalent.
