EMR System: Epic
Specialty Backup Available: CT, X-Ray, Ultrasound, Lab onsite

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
Credentialing Timeline: 90-120 days
Temporary Privileges Available: Yes

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Surgery (ABMS/AOA recognized board)
Licenses: Active unrestricted Ohio license and DEA required
DEA / CDS: Active DEA required
Certifications: ATLS required; ABFM/ABIM require ACLS + ATLS; PALS required for non-EM boarded/eligible providers
Experience: ACGME/AOA EM, IM, FM, or Surgery residency required
Other Qualifications: Seasonal Flu and QuantiFERON required

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide emergency medical care in a freestanding ED setting
Manage patients with acute conditions across the age spectrum
Order and interpret diagnostic tests (CT, X-ray, Ultrasound, Lab)
Stabilize and arrange transfer of patients as needed
Document patient encounters in Epic EMR
