Come join an outstanding team who cares about our residents and strives for excellence every day! Leasing Specialist Currently, BSR has an immediate opening for a Leasing Specialist. The Leasing Specialist performs a variety of duties associated with leasing and marketing the apartment community. Responsibilities Provide information about the apartment and the community to the prospective residents and schedule visits to the community Determine the needs and respond promptly to resident needs and concerns in a professional manner Quickly close new sales and lease apartments Use effective sales techniques on the telephone and in person to maximize the conversion of traffic to leases Effectively explain all lease and community policies to new and current residents Maintain an accurate and in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the community, particularly in areas such as rent and pricing information, vacancies, apartment availability, lease expirations, square footage, etc. Analyze concerns associated with apartments which are slow to lease and offers recommendations to the Property Manager Conduct follow up activity with all residents in order to establish positive resident relations Accurately and efficiently prepares and assists with all leasing paperwork Maintain current resident files Maintain accurate record of daily prospect calls and visits Completes service requests and communicates to service/maintenance department and enters information into the database Answering phones, typing, filing and other clerical functions as deemed necessary.
