The International School of San Francisco is a bilingual, multicultural learning community where students learn to navigate the complexities of the world with confidence, empathy, and joy. Our vibrant urban campus is situated in the heart of the city and serves nearly 1,100 students beginning at age 2 and continuing through grade 12.

Position

Starting in August 2026, we seek a dynamic Visitor Liaison. This full-time position reports to the High School Principal and is based in the High School building. This position provides an excellent opportunity to learn about independent school culture.

RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:
● Establish a positive relationship with all members of our school community
● Greet and direct all visitors and families who enter the Oak Street High School
entrance
● Build a healthy culture of hospitality and welcome for our front entrance for students
and for visitors
● Act as point person on the logistics for both visiting speakers and when students go out
into the city to learn (field trips), arranging communication, transportation, etc. as
needed
● Organize individual visits for college and university representatives as well as
university fairs in coordination with the College Guidance team
● Coordinate the logistics for visiting Accreditation teams and other outside visiting
groups, making sure they are cared for throughout their visit
● Coordinate logistics for conferences that the school hosts and other times when we
invite outside guests to our campus
● Act as the point person and organizer of experiences for visiting groups of students and
teachers who are here for exchanges, making sure they are cared for throughout their
visit
● Distribute high school mail
● Other duties as assigned

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
● Excellent communication skills
● Strong interpersonal skills and strong attention to detail
● Ability to organize events and coordinate with other departments
● Ability to provide a high level of customer service
● Ability to prioritize and manage simultaneous demands with a willing, friendly attitude
● Effective collaboration skills with all members of our community
● Strong organizational and computer skills
● Ability to meet deadlines and be proactive
● Previous experience in independent schools or nonprofits preferred
● A demonstrated commitment to The International School of San Francisco’s mission
and values
● An appreciation and understanding of other cultures
● Must be authorized to work in the United States
● All prospective staff will be fingerprinted and submit a criminal background check.

Note this is a Full Time, Non exempt role. The salary range is $32-$40/hr based on experience and qualification.
