The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of Medical-Surgical experience, prior travel experience, and strong clinical skills in caring for post-surgical and medically complex patients. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to Medical-Surgical patients. Perform patient assessments and monitor changes in condition. Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols. Provide post-surgical nursing care and monitor patient recovery. Manage patients with conditions including abdominal pain, cholelithiasis, osteoarthritis, fractures, back pain, and post-bariatric surgery needs. Manage and monitor IV pumps, NG tubes, and feeding tubes. Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams. Educate patients and families regarding treatment and care plans. Follow infection control, safety, and facility policies. Float to other units as required.
