This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate psychiatric nurse with strong pediatric behavioral health experience.

Assignment Details:

• Profession: Registered Nurse (RN)

• Specialty: Psychiatry

• Unit: Child & Adolescent Inpatient Psychiatry

• Location: Syracuse, NY

• Assignment Length: 16 Weeks

• Shift: Nights

• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

• Holiday Requirement: Some holidays
  

Requirements:

• Active NY RN license

• BLS certification required and must be eligible for recertification

• Minimum 1.5 years of recent acute-care experience within the past 2 years

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience preferred

• Inpatient psychiatric experience with both children and adolescents required

• Adult psychiatric experience preferred

• EPIC experience preferred

• Experience in a hospital of similar or greater size and acuity preferred

• Strong patient assessment and acute-care nursing skills

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to work independently with minimal orientation and supervision

• Must meet all required health clearance, drug screening, background check, and employment eligibility requirements
