About the Role:

Therapy World LLC is looking for a passionate and dedicated Pediatric Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our growing team in Charlotte, NC/Rock Hill SC! In this rewarding role, you'll make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families by delivering high-quality, compassionate occupational therapy services every day.

Responsibilities:

• Implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans for pediatric patients under the supervision of a licensed OT
• Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions targeting fine motor, sensory processing, self-care, and developmental skills
• Monitor and document patient progress, updating treatment notes and goals accordingly
• Collaborate with occupational therapists, families, caregivers, and school personnel to support each child's development
• Educate parents and caregivers on home exercise programs and therapeutic strategies
• Maintain a safe, engaging, and child-friendly therapy environment
• Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and ongoing professional development

Requirements:

• Active COTA licensure in the state of North Carolina and South Carolina
• NBCOT certification (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant) required
• Experience working with pediatric populations in a clinical, school, or outpatient setting preferred
• Knowledge of sensory integration, NDT, or other pediatric therapy frameworks is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with children of all abilities
• Ability to maintain accurate documentation and meet productivity standards
