About the Role:

A nationally recognized personal injury law firm is seeking a Bilingual (English/Spanish) Litigation Attorney to join its growing litigation team in Texas. Founded in 2003, the firm has recovered more than $1 billion for property damage and personal injury clients nationwide and has nearly 100 attorneys across more than 30 offices throughout the Central and Southeastern United States.

This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who is passionate about advocating for clients and achieving favorable outcomes. The successful candidate will work directly with clients, evaluate claims, communicate with insurance companies, negotiate settlements, and support matters throughout the litigation process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage personal injury litigation matters and assist clients throughout the legal process.
• Meet with clients to understand their cases, explain legal options, and establish trust and confidence.
• Evaluate claims, liability, damages, insurance coverage, and potential case value.
• Communicate regularly with clients regarding case status, claims, demands, settlement offers, and next steps.
• Communicate with insurance companies regarding claims, demands, offers, and case developments.
• Develop effective litigation and negotiation strategies to achieve favorable client outcomes.
• Conduct legal research and prepare pleadings, motions, discovery, correspondence, settlement demands, and other legal documents.
• Handle discovery, depositions, mediations, hearings, and other litigation-related proceedings as needed.
• Negotiate settlements and work to maximize client recovery.
• Maintain accurate case files and ensure compliance with applicable deadlines and procedural requirements.
• Collaborate with paralegals, legal assistants, and other attorneys to effectively manage cases.
• Provide legal guidance and practical solutions to address issues that arise during litigation.
• Communicate with Spanish-speaking clients and other parties throughout the case when necessary.
• Maintain a professional, compassionate, and client-focused approach in all interactions.

Required Qualifications:

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with the Texas Bar.
• Bilingual English/Spanish fluency is required.
• Experience evaluating personal injury claims and case value.
• Strong negotiation and settlement skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical abilities.
• Proactive and practical approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to build trust and maintain strong relationships with clients.
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively with attorneys and support staff.
