About the Role
The Company is seeking a Managing Director of Public Finance to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial solutions for a wide range of tax-exempt issues, working closely with state, county, and municipal issuers to create tailored financing structures. This role involves maintaining and building relationships with municipal issuers and their stakeholders, as well as ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The Managing Director will also be involved in structuring new debt transactions, identifying refinancing opportunities, and managing a team of associates. Applicants for the Managing Director of Public Finance position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, or a related field, with a preference for those with over 5 years of experience in public finance banking. The role requires a strong understanding of macroeconomics and fixed-income markets, proficiency in relevant financial software, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will be well-organized, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills. Certification requirements include SIE, Series 7 or Series 52, and Series 63 exams, or the successful completion of these exams within 90 days of hire.
