Start the next chapter of your career with Crane Aerospace & Electronics!Job Summary:The Electrical Engineering Manager leads a team of electrical engineers developing complex aerospace electronics, providing technical guidance and oversight. Rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.Essential Functions:Provide leadership and management for product development and sustaining programs and activitiesLead initiatives to improve electrical engineering processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and product quality.Plan and manage the deployment of resources for multiple projectsEstablish and monitor department budgetsEncourage and provide opportunities for continued relevant technical trainingProvide technical assistance to Business Development to win new business and drive company growthProvide the appropriate skill mix to sustain and grow the business and to meet customer requirementsManage the design, development, and testing of electrical systems, components, and products to ensure compliance with industry standards (such as MIL-PRF-38534).Develop, enhance and maintain a core team as well as an external network of consultants, contractors and suppliers to support product developmentProvide technical guidance and mentorship to the electrical engineering team, ensuring best practices in DC-DC design, power systems, and hybrid circuit technologies.Identify and mitigate risks associated with electrical designs, including thermal management, electromagnetic interference (EMI), and radiation effects.Lead initiatives to improve electrical engineering processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and product quality.Any other tasks assigned by supervisor or managementEligibility Requirement: This position may require access to Controlled Data or Information.
