ABOUT THE POSITION The Engineering Coordinator is responsible for various tasks to support Engineering, Planning, Purchasing, and Production personnel. Key Activities & Responsibilities • Generate and assign new engineering items, and process new items through JDE • Generate and maintain BOMs and Routings in JDE with engineering support • Update and maintain item notes and drawing links in JDE • Print WOs and attach drawings for subsequent release with planning support • Transfer component allocations between WOs with planning support • Obtain and develop equipment manuals/data for engineered products, and distribute them to internal and external customers To be successful in this role, your experience and competencies are: • JDE ERP experience required • High school degree or equivalent required • Ability to read and interpret drawing and blueprints • Knowledge of computers, primarily Word and Excel required. • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and ability to use these skills effectively throughout the organization and with all levels of employees required. • Must be able to work on data entry unassisted. • Ability to effectively work as a member of a team required. These internal control responsibilities are verbally communicated to the incumbent and periodic feedback is provided as it relates to the performance of these internal control responsibilities. WORK ENVIRONMENT Office While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to risk of injury in an office environment and occasionally a manufacturing shop plant environment. Duties include a typical office setting including extensive computer work, sitting or standing.
