Accounting Specialist

Our client is a global leader in mobile robotics listed on a major international exchange, with over 180 employees worldwide and backed by a prominent global technology investment group. Operating with a fast-paced, innovative startup culture, they design, sell, and operate scalable automated robotic systems. This role operates out of their North American corporate footprint, maintaining a crucial link to their global headquarters in Paris.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Financial & Procurement Ownership: Own the end-to-end Purchase-to-Pay process. This includes handling purchase orders, vendor invoices, expense approvals, and managing monthly U.S. corporate credit card reconciliations alongside HQ Finance.

• Budgeting & Cost Optimization: Track and report on regional operational costs (shipping, facilities, overhead) versus actual budget. Actively analyze spend data to negotiate smarter vendor terms and spot cost-saving opportunities.

• Cross-Functional & HQ Liaison: Serve as the primary operational point of contact for corporate global departments (Finance, HR, IT, Sales) to ensure global compliance, process improvement, and seamless employee onboarding/offboarding logistics.

• Office & Culture Management: Oversee daily facility functionality to keep the office organized and welcoming, while coordinating logistics and entertainment budgets for team events and culture initiatives.

Absolute Must-Haves

• The Hybrid Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business, OR a minimum of 3 years of direct experience executing a dual finance/operations role.

• Core Financial Foundations: A solid understanding of GAAP principles, standard procurement workflows, internal financial controls, and budget tracking/reconciliation.

• Technical Tooling: Proficiency with ERP/accounting software, expense management systems, Microsoft Excel, and Google Workspace.
