French (African) Transcription SpecialistProSidian is seeking a French (African) Transcription Specialist for Program Support on a contract basis located in the Mid Atlantic region supporting the City of Charlotte’s mission of ensuring the delivery of quality public services and promote the safety, health, and quality of life of its citizens with Translation, Transcription, and Interpretation services.This is a Contract Contingent or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) Transcription Services Functional Area - Transcription Services Position; however, ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a Full-Time ProSidian employed W-2 Position.Job OverviewProvide services and support as a Transcription Services (French (African) Transcription Specialist) in the Government And Public Services Industry Sector focusing on Business Process Solutions for clients such as City Of Charlotte, NC (CLT) | City of Charlotte Procurement Department Generally Located In CONUS - Charlotte, NC and across the Mid Atlantic Region (Of Country/World).Responsibilities and DutiesConvert spoken French (African dialects) audio into written format with accuracy. Ensure transcripts follow formatting requirements. Edit and proofread transcriptions. Maintain confidentiality of information.QualificationsDesired Qualifications For French (African) Transcription Specialist | Transcription Services Candidates:Education / Experience Requirements / QualificationsBachelor's degree in Linguistics, Translation, or related field preferred. 2+ years in transcription services.Skills RequiredExcellent listening skills, typing speed of at least 60 WPM, familiarity with transcription software.Competencies RequiredAttention to detail, cultural sensitivity, time management, ability to meet deadlines.Ancillary Details Of The RolesAbility to work under tight deadlines.Experience with timestamping and verbatim transcription preferred.Other DetailsMust sign a confidentiality agreement.
