Salary Range: $49,000 - $76,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Coopersville that are seeking Payroll Specialists. These companies are committed to building strong teams and are looking for professionals who can lead initiatives effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly payroll for all manufacturing employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and changes in pay rates or deductions.
• Calculate and submit payroll taxes, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Reconcile payroll data with general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Administer and process employee benefits deductions, such as health insurance and 401k contributions.
• Prepare and distribute W-2 forms and other year-end payroll reports.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and benefits.

Recommended Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience processing payroll in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex) and HRIS systems.
• Strong understanding of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.
• Experience with timekeeping systems and their integration with payroll.
• Ability to handle complex calculations, including bonuses, shift differentials, and overtime.
