Senior Marketing Coordinator

Position Overview: The Senior Marketing Coordinator plays a key role in developing proposals, presentations, and marketing materials that help win work and strengthen the company’s brand. This individual takes ownership of proposal development, coordinating with business development leaders and project teams to produce clear, compelling, client-focused submissions. The role requires strong writing and design skills, strategic thinking, and the initiative to manage key marketing projects from concept through completion. The Senior Marketing Coordinator also supports and mentors junior team members while upholding the company’s values. This position is based in Cleveland, Ohio. Preference will be given to candidates located in Northeast Ohio or those willing to relocate to the area. Responsibilities: Lead the development of RFQ, RFP, and bid submissions, ensuring high-quality, compliant, and strategically positioned content. Manage and maintain a centralized library of proposal content, marketing resources, and best practices. Independently develop interview presentations, qualifications packages, and client-facing marketing materials in collaboration with pursuit teams. Create compelling proposal content through strong business writing, editing, and graphic design. Coordinate the production, review, and delivery of proposals and marketing collateral while managing multiple deadlines. Support the development and maintenance of marketing materials, including brochures, advertisements, website content, project profiles, and social media content. Create project interview and client introduction presentations in collaboration with pursuit teams. Contribute to the execution of marketing and business development strategies and initiatives. Identify and implement process improvements related to proposal development, content management, and marketing workflows. Collaborate with technical, operational, and business development teams to strengthen messaging, positioning, and brand presence. Perform other related duties as assigned. Skills and Abilities: Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Self-motivated, proactive, and highly organized with strong attention to detail. Ability to independently lead proposal and marketing efforts with minimal supervision. Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to coordinate stakeholders and drive project progress. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to provide presentation support, content review, and constructive feedback. Demonstrated ability to mentor and support team members while fostering professional growth. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign. Experience with state and federal A/E qualification forms is preferred. Strong business writing, editing, and graphic design experience, particularly related to proposals, qualifications, and pursuit materials. Qualifications: Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Graphic Design, or a related field; equivalent industry experience may be considered in lieu of formal education. 3+ years of experience in marketing, proposal development, business writing, graphic design, or a related field. Knowledge of marketing and business development practices within the construction, architecture, engineering, or professional services industries is a plus.
