Budget Analyst

Department: Department of Veterans Affairs The VA Northeast Ohio Healthcare Systems is recruiting for a Budget Analyst to function in Fiscal services. The incumbent is responsible for helping plan and execute various aspects of the budget for the Medical Center. Key Responsibilities The Budget Analyst duties include, but are not limited to: Compiling data and running budgetary reports Analyzing spend rates, engaging with services to forecast budgetary needs. Assisting services with preparing budget submissions for funding needs Reconciling actual spending against prepared budget plans. Reviewing funding requests to ensure they are in compliance with applicable policies. Promotion Potential: The selectee may be promoted to the full performance level without further competition when all regulatory, qualification, and performance requirements are met. Selection at a lower grade level does not guarantee promotion to the full performance level. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday; 7:30am - 4:00pm Telework: This position may be authorized for telework.
