Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) position in a healthcare facility. This role involves performing comprehensive respiratory care services specifically related to pediatric patients, including adult ventilator care, critical care assessments, EKGs, pulmonary function testing, stress testing, and holter monitoring. The position requires critical thinking and clinical expertise to support various diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Current Michigan Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license in good standing, active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), active American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, a minimum of five years of current respiratory therapy experience, and ability to cross-train in cardiology procedures such as EKG, stress tests, holter monitors, and EEGs.
• Preferred Qualifications: Cerner experience strongly preferred.
• Additional Information: Candidates must possess their own vehicle for the assignment, include their permanent address in their profile, and list all scheduled time off in their profile. All scheduling requests, including time off, must be made at the time of submission; requests made after an offer may be rescinded.
