Location Avera Infectious Disease Specialists, Sioux Falls Worker Type Regular Work Shift Primarily days with night, weekend and holiday on‑call involvement Clinic Hours Monday ‑ Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Position Title RN Clinic Manager or Clinic Manager Overview Responsible for all aspects of the day‑to‑day operations of the clinic, including nursing, business office and medical staff relations. Responsibilities Manage, supervise and coordinate day‑to‑day operations of the clinic, including financial management, budgeting, staffing and services offered, ensuring efficient and cost‑effective operation. Collect data, prepare reports, analyze statistics and respond to correspondence. Identify and review operational problems, resolve issues or bring them to leadership. Assist leadership with preparation, implementation and monitoring of budgets and business plans. Recommend clinic facility improvements, including construction, renovation and purchase of equipment. Ensure clinic operates in support of the mission, values and philosophies of the organization. Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and accrediting bodies, initiating changes as appropriate. Maintain open professional communication with providers daily, involving them in issues that affect the clinic. Coordinate with leadership on monitoring medical activities to ensure cost‑effective, high‑quality patient care. Ensure proper credentialing and licensure are maintained. Administer staffing plan to enable efficient operation. Resolve medical‑administrative problems, maintaining open communication to ensure high morale and a professional clinic atmosphere. Maintain professional affiliations, enhance professional development and attend meetings as necessary for operational knowledge. Interview, hire, develop, train and retain employees; plan, assign and lead work; appraise performance; reward and coach employees; address complaints and resolve problems. Requires visual acuity adequate for duties and ability to communicate effectively, hear, understand and distinguish speech and other sounds. Required Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience Bachelor’s degree from a four‑college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience. 1–3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
