Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual therapy sessions and facilitate group therapy in a virtual capacity, ensuring a therapeutic alliance that fosters healing and personal growth.

• Provide specialized services including anger management, coping strategies, and social skills training to improve client behavior and overall well-being.
\n
• Assist youth and their caregivers in developing effective decision-making skills to tackle in-home behavioral challenges, utilizing a strengths-based approach.

• Collaboratively engage with the Child Family Treatment Team and other professionals to coordinate care and enhance service delivery for families in need.
\n
• Document client progress meticulously through intake forms, treatment plans, and progress notes while adhering to compliance deadlines.

• Participate actively in monthly team meetings and contribute recommendations for improving service provision.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily serve a diverse population that includes both adults and youth. With a focus on community health, you will provide comprehensive mental health support to individuals coping with various challenges, including behavioral issues, relationship difficulties, and emotional distress. Your therapeutic approach will emphasize empowerment and strengths, working closely with clients to help them achieve their personal goals.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, or a related field is required.

• An active and unrestricted LMFT license is mandatory to practice.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of relevant experience in a clinical setting providing positive behavior support.

• Experience facilitating therapy sessions for both individuals and groups, focusing on youth and families.

• A valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle for possible client transport or community engagement activities.

• Successful completion of a criminal background check including fingerprinting is required prior to employment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
