Position Overview

Job Posting for Resident Assistant Caregiver -

Available Shifts

• 1st Shift (8:00 AM - 8:00 PM): Must be FLEXIBLE and AVAILABLE to work all 5 Locations, between the hours of 8a-8p. Shifts vary. No set schedule. No Set location. 8a-2p, 8a-4p, 2p-8p, or 4p-8p, as needed. Candidates must be able to multitask efficiently. Responsibilities include passing and entering medications, meal preparation, conducting activities, cooking, managing the home, and providing excellent customer service when interacting with professional guests. Additional essential skills include bathing assistance, accurate charting, and effective communication.
• 3rd Shift (8:00 PM - 8:00 AM): Candidates must be able to cook breakfast, perform deep cleaning of the home, ensure that food, household supplies, and medications are stocked, and remain awake throughout the shift.
• Weekend Shift - Rotating Saturday and Sunday (8:00 AM - 8:00PM)

About Us - Who We Are:

Eminent Quality Care, LLC and Adult Family Homes are a growing business currently operating 5 Adult Family Homes. We just acquired our 6th 4-bedroom Adult Family Home, which should open in the next 30-60 days. We serve older adults and/or disabled individuals who are functionally, physically, and/or socially impaired and require 24-hour oversight. We are seeking candidates for the 3rd Shift Only (8:00 PM - 8:00 AM), with rotating holidays and weekends, to join our essential team and deliver exceptional resident care.

Job Responsibilities

Job responsibilities include:

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as cooking, cleaning, bathing, dressing/undressing, and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs).

Qualifications & Experience

To be successful in the role, you must have and/or be:

• Prior caregiving experience in CBRF, Adult Family Home, long-term care, at home, or in a commercial setting, or CNA certification, especially providing care to individuals with developmental disabilities and/or elderly individuals, is highly preferred.
• Preference for individuals with at least one year of experience in medication administration.
• Ability to show empathy and compassion when managing challenging behaviors.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to follow written instructions.
• Self-motivated with a strong drive to complete tasks and ensure resident well-being.
• Ability to work independently and manage the facility with minimal oversight.
• Professional pride in both personal standards and providing care for others.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

3rd Shift - Experience/Qualifications

• MUST BE ABLE TO STAY UP DURING 3RD SHIFT TO PROVIDE AWAKE CARE.

• MUST HAVE COMPUTER SKILLS and ECP (or electronic monitoring charting) experience. Must be able to use modern technology including cell phones, computers, internet, as well as proficiency in typing, copying, faxing, scanning, and emailing.

Requirements

• Position is contingent upon passing a TB test, labs, skin test or X-ray, a
• State of Wisconsin Department of Justice Caregiver and Criminal Background check, and TMU/DHS Caregiver Misconduct screening.

Job Details

·         Salary: $14.00 per hour

·         Shifts are 8:00 PM - 8:00 AM or 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM (12-hour shifts required)

·         Expected weekly hours: No less than 36 hours per week, with a 72-hour pay period
