The candidate should be customer focused, have strong communication skills, and demonstrate the ability to deliver results.NPI has responsibility to all aspects of supply chain management; sourcing strategy, negotiation, order placement, and delivery assurance. NPI supports efforts using cutting edge technologies and designs in support of military and commercial next generation engine platforms. This position requires exceptional problem-solving skills & the ability to leverage working relationships across the many P&W functional groups; Quality, Materials, Engineering, MCL, ESA, Regional Offices, Programs and multiple suppliers.The NPI Castings Team is looking for an Accounts Specialist to procure and manage complex castings. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve challenges in support of on-time delivery and best value sourcing. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, analytical, and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across multiple P&W functional organizations.Specific Job Responsibilities: Manage purchase orders throughout its entire lifecycle including requirements generation, initial quoting, negotiations, order creation, delivery assurance and billingDevelop sourcing strategies with NPI counterparts, factoring in near term needs and long-term strategyIdentify, communicate, and mitigate supplier-related risks that may impact program execution and industrial plansCollaborate closely with PWPR team to support quotation, order placement, and delivery assurance activitiesPartner with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve quality concerns, Quality Notifications (QNs)Partner with Strategic Sourcing and cross-functional teams to support supplier performance, sourcing initiatives, and business objectivesEnsure compliance with all applicable requirements, including the Raytheon Code of Ethics, International Trade Compliance regulations, P&W Procurement Manual, standard work processes, and transition requirements.Build and maintain strong working relationships across internal functional organizations and external suppliers.Qualifications you must have:A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 5 years of experience in Operations, Supply Chain Management, or related fields: or an advanced degree with 3 years of experience.U.S. Citizen - The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
