Key Responsibilities for the Accounts Payable Specialist:
Process and enter invoices for assigned properties. Review invoice coding and ensure expenses are posted in the correct accounting period. Manage recurring payment schedules and process vendor payments. Reconcile vendor statements and research discrepancies. Process weekly check runs, voids, stop payments, and emergency checks as needed. Monitor AP workflows, aging reports, and utility payment schedules to ensure timely processing.
Qualifications for the Accounts Payable Specialist:
2-3 years of multi-entity accounts payable experience in a mid-sized corporate environment. Strong data entry skills and experience processing vendor invoices and statements. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Experience with automated accounting systems and a solid understanding of accounting principles.
