Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

Schedule: Nights, 12 hours, 36 per week

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 8 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Requirements:

• RN License
• Experience in Medical-Surgical nursing
• Proficient in electronic medical record (EMR) systems

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients within the assigned unit.
• Assess patient needs, problems, and concerns; perform ongoing data collection focusing on various health statuses and educational needs of patients and families.
• Develop and implement individualized, goal-directed plans of care in collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care, adjusting plans as necessary.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding care plans and health management strategies.
• Supervise and coordinate the duties of the healthcare team, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
• Participate in nursing research activities as requested and maintain documentation in medical records accurately.
