Join Our In-House & Traveling Veterinary Team
Are you a confident, compassionate Veterinary Technician who loves anesthesia and takes pride in providing exceptional patient care?
We’re looking for an experienced, motivated Full-Time Veterinary Technician to join our growing team and work closely with our in-house and traveling veterinarians.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technician who enjoys being hands-on, thinking independently, and being an essential part of a high-quality veterinary team.
The Ideal Candidate
We’re looking for someone who:
Has strong anesthesia and surgical monitoring skills
Is confident with anesthetic protocols, induction, intubation, monitoring, and recovery
Can recognize changes in a patient's status and respond quickly and appropriately
Comfortable placing IV catheters, drawing blood, administering medications, and monitoring patients
Has excellent technical and patient-care skills
Works well alongside veterinarians and other team members
Is organized, dependable, calm under pressure, and detail-oriented
Has a positive attitude and genuinely cares about patients and their owners
Enjoys variety and is excited to work assisting veterinarians with house calls and in clinic appointments.
Has excellent communication skills.
What You’ll Do
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing exceptional nursing and patient care
Preparing patients for procedures and surgery
Monitoring anesthesia before, during, and after procedures
Assisting veterinarians with surgical and medical procedures
IV catheter placement, fluid therapy, medication administration, and laboratory work
Patient monitoring and recovery
Maintaining accurate medical records
Preparing and maintaining surgical and anesthesia equipment
Helping ensure a clean, organized, safe, and efficient clinical environment
Assisting our traveling veterinarian as needed
Building strong relationships with clients and their pets
Client education
