CNC / Plasma Cutting Operator

North Versailles,  PA

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented CNC / Plasma Cutting Operator to support a busy fabrication environment. This role combines CAD design responsibilities with hands-on manufacturing and machining work. The successful candidate will create and modify fabrication drawings, operate plasma cutting equipment, and assist with CNC machining operations while working in both office and shop-floor settings.

• Combination of CAD design, CNC machining, and plasma cutting responsibilities.

• Create and modify CAD drawings for fabrication and manufacturing projects.
• Develop production-ready designs using SolidWorks or similar CAD software.
• Set up, adjust, and operate plasma cutting equipment and burn tables.
• Operate and assist with HAAS Vertical Machining Center equipment.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and production specifications.
• Verify dimensions and measurements to ensure product quality and accuracy.
• Collaborate with fabrication personnel to support production requirements.
• Perform basic machine setup, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment. 

• CAD design experience required; SolidWorks experience strongly preferred.
• CNC machining and manual machining experience preferred.
• Strong math and measurement skills.
• Ability to work effectively in both an office and shop-floor environment.
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
• Valid driver license required. 

• 3+ years of CNC milling machine experience.
• 3+ years of metal design or fabrication experience.
• 3+ years of SolidWorks experience.
• Experience working in a fabrication, machine shop, or manufacturing environment.
