Corporate Associate

Job Overview A law firm seeks a corporate associate in San Diego, CA, with 3-6 years of U.S. experience at a large or sophisticated mid-size law firm. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in venture capital and growth equity financings, as well as private company counseling. Duties Engage in venture capital and growth equity financings for both company and investor sides. Provide day-to-day counseling for private companies. Collaborate effectively with team members and clients. Take ownership of projects and responsibilities. Contribute to local and national client teams with significant client interaction. Requirements 3-6 years of relevant U.S. legal experience. Experience with venture capital and growth equity financings. Proficiency in private company counseling. Ability to work collaboratively and independently. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Admission to the California State Bar. Skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Benefits Comprehensive health insurance.
