What You’ll Do

• Diagnose and stage various cancers using clinical assessments, imaging, and labs
• Develop personalized treatment plans involving chemotherapy, radiation, immunotherapy, and targeted therapies
• Monitor and adjust treatment protocols based on patient progress
• Manage side effects and provide supportive care to improve quality of life
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, and expected outcomes
• Offer emotional support and counseling throughout the patient’s cancer journey
• Collaborate with surgeons, radiologists, nurses, and other specialists to ensure coordinated care
• Participate in clinical trials, research, and quality improvement initiatives
• Stay current with new guidelines, treatment advancements, and evidence-based practices
• Mentor team members and contribute to departmental initiatives

What You Need

• Active medical license in Vermont (or eligible)
• Experience in oncology preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care
