GTS is seeking an experienced Engine Line Production Manager to lead the daily execution and performance of assigned aircraft engine production lines.

This is a highly visible, hands-on leadership position with direct responsibility for driving assigned engines through the MRO process—from induction, disassembly, and inspection through repair, assembly, testing, documentation, and delivery readiness.

The successful candidate will maintain a strong presence on the production floor, establish clear priorities, identify and remove production constraints, coordinate resources across departments, and ensure engine milestones and customer delivery commitments are actively managed.

Key Responsibilities

• Assume direct production ownership of assigned engines from induction through completion and delivery readiness.
• Develop and maintain detailed production schedules, milestones, and recovery plans for each assigned engine.
• Lead daily engine-line activities and establish priorities for supervisors, leads, mechanics, and technicians.
• Maintain real-time visibility of engine status, work remaining, material requirements, tooling, technical issues, inspections, and production constraints.
• Conduct regular production-floor reviews to verify actual progress against scheduled activities.
• Identify schedule risks and production bottlenecks before they impact customer commitments.
• Develop and execute recovery plans when engines fall behind schedule.
• Coordinate manpower and resources according to workload, skill requirements, and delivery priorities.
• Work closely with Planning, Purchasing, Inventory Control, Engineering, Quality, Inspection, Outside Repair, and other supporting departments.
• Monitor material shortages, outside repairs, engineering actions, tooling requirements, and other critical-path constraints.
• Ensure production personnel have the approved technical data, tooling, parts, equipment, and support required to perform assigned work.
• Monitor labor utilization, productivity, turnaround time, and planned versus actual performance.
• Provide accurate production status and completion forecasts to management and customer-facing teams.
• Drive continuous improvement, reduction of idle time, improved workflow, and prevention of avoidable rework.
• Ensure production activities comply with applicable FAA/EASA requirements, company procedures, approved technical data, and quality requirements.

The position is expected to coordinate extensively across Production, Planning, Purchasing, Inventory Control, Engineering, Quality Assurance, Inspection, Outside Repair, Shipping & Receiving, Tooling, Facilities, Customer Service, Sales, Finance, and Executive Management.

Required Qualifications

• 7–10 years of aircraft turbine engine MRO experience, or an equivalent combination of technical and operational experience.
• 3–5 years of engine production, supervisory, lead, or management experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple turbine engines or major engine modules through an MRO production environment.
• Strong working knowledge of turbine engine disassembly, assembly, inspection, work scope development, material requirements, production planning, and engine records.
• Experience working within an FAA Part 145 Repair Station strongly preferred.
• Direct experience with CFM56, CF6, LEAP, or comparable commercial turbine engine platforms highly desirable.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems, work orders, production travelers, and production-control systems.
• Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
