Scope of Position

Advantice Health is growing rapidly across beauty and consumer healthcare, and supply continuity is critical to maintaining the trust consumers place in our brands. As Master Scheduler, you will convert demand, inventory, and service requirements into an executable, time-phased master production schedule for assigned brands, ensuring products are manufactured, released, and available where and when consumers need them - while balancing inventory, cost, service, and operational agility.

This role collaborates directly with Finance, Marketing, Sales, Packaging, Quality, Scale North (our NetSuite administrative partner), the CDMOs that manufacture our products, and the logistics providers that store and move our products to support an efficient, predictable, and resilient end-to-end supply chain.

The Master Scheduler is accountable for approximately 100 items in our portfolio, including finished goods, work in process (WIP), and components across our Kerasal, Emtrix, New Skin, Dermoplast, and Domeboro brands. Although the role is primarily U.S.-focused, it also supports our international business, including New Skin and Emtrix in Canada and Emtrix/Kerasal in six countries outside North America. The role supports our departmental goal of an overall unit fill rate of 97.5% while optimizing working capital.

Responsibilities

 

The Master Scheduler is a hands-on, roll-up your-sleeves professional who:

• Translates the approved demand plan into time-phased, SKU-level production requirements using forecasts, customer orders, inventory targets, safety stocks, lead times, and demand trends.
• Owns and maintains the master production schedule in Excel, ensuring schedule assumptions and key planning parameters - including lead times, minimum order quantities, batch sizes, production calendars, and constraints - remain accurate.
• Provides Scale North with approved purchase-order requirements and changes and coordinates with the team to ensure purchase orders are created and maintained accurately in NetSuite.
• Works with manufacturing sites to sequence production and agree when specific products and batches should run, considering equipment, tanks, lines, campaign sizes, changeovers, labor, and quality-release lead times.
• Balances demand and capacity by identifying when the production plan exceeds available manufacturing or packaging capacity. Anticipates constraints and drives resolution before they become customer-service problems.
• Coordinates with Procurement and material planners to confirm that APIs, raw materials, components, labels, cartons, bottles, and other required materials are available before production.
• Replans promptly when demand changes, materials are late, batches fail, equipment is unavailable, quality release is delayed, or production takes longer than expected.
• Communicates emerging supply-chain risks, operational constraints, service implications, and recommended mitigation plans to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Collaborates with Supply Planning, Sales, Marketing, and Operations to recommend priorities when capacity or materials are constrained and all requirements cannot be met on time.
• Maintains a rolling, time-phased production schedule with CMO site planners, including agreed schedule windows, production commitments, and changes by week.
• Monitors projected inventory, safety-stock attainment, shelf life, expiry exposure, and excess or obsolete inventory, and adjusts or escalates the schedule as needed.
• Tracks schedule adherence and related performance indicators, compares planned versus actual production, investigates misses, and coordinates corrective actions.
• Leads recurring schedule reviews with internal stakeholders and CMO partners, documenting commitments, decisions, risks, and follow-up actions.
• Plans and coordinates timing for new products, artwork changes, reformulations, technical transfers, discontinuations, and inventory run-downs to minimize service disruption and obsolescence.
• Stays informed about relevant supplier risks, transportation disruptions, tariffs, and industry conditions that could affect schedule feasibility or product availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in master scheduling, production planning, or supply planning within consumer products, healthcare, beauty, or another fast-moving consumer goods industry.
• Working knowledge of MRP logic, bills of material, production lead times, batch sizing, capacity constraints, and material-availability planning.
• APICS/ASCM certification (CPIM or CSCP) is preferred.
• Experience working with external manufacturers and third-party logistics providers.
• Strong ERP/MRP systems experience; NetSuite experience preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and reporting capabilities, including analytical modeling, scenario analysis, and data interpretation.
• Demonstrated experience managing and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize and make decisions in fast-paced environments.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate operational risks, tradeoffs, and recommendations.
• Experience leveraging emerging AI tools, automation, and digital technologies to improve planning efficiency and operational decision-making preferred.
