Work Environment

The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner position is based onsite at our Assisted Living Facility, where you will work closely with a collaborative team of healthcare professionals. The facility is dedicated to creating a safe and supportive atmosphere for residents, emphasizing both mental and physical health needs. Regular business hours from 9 am to 5 pm facilitate work-life balance while allowing for ample interaction with patients and team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments and evaluations to accurately diagnose patients’ mental health conditions.
• Manage and adjust medication regimens, continuously monitoring treatment efficacy and patient response.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary team members, including primary care providers, ensuring integrated care tailored to each individual.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and emotional support during instances of anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges.
• Engage in community outreach initiatives that promote mental health education and awareness, contributing to local resources.
• Deliver therapeutic support through counseling sessions, focusing on psychoeducation and skills development for managing mental health issues.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and confidential patient records, strictly adhering to HIPAA guidelines to protect patient privacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will serve a diverse patient population within the assisted living facility, primarily focusing on the mental health needs of residents. Compensation and Benefits
