Parts Department Associate Friendly Powersports – Baton Rouge, LA Job Type: Full-time Friendly Powersports is looking for a dependable, customer-focused Parts Department Associate to join our Baton Rouge team. This position assists customers and technicians with locating, ordering, receiving, and organizing parts and accessories for motorcycles, ATVs, side-by-sides, and other powersports vehicles. Responsibilities Assist customers in person and by phone with parts and accessory needs Look up parts using manufacturer catalogs and dealership systems Provide accurate pricing and availability information Order, receive, label, stock, and organize inventory Pull parts for service technicians and customer orders Process parts sales, returns, special orders, and warranty-related items Maintain accurate inventory records Keep the parts counter, warehouse, and display areas clean and organized Notify customers when special-order parts arrive Work closely with the service and sales departments Help maintain a positive and professional customer experience Qualifications Previous parts, automotive, motorcycle, or powersports experience is preferred Basic knowledge of motorcycles, ATVs, or side-by-sides is a plus Strong customer service and communication skills Comfortable using computers and learning dealership software Organized, accurate, and able to manage multiple tasks Able to lift and move parts and merchandise as needed Dependable attendance and reliable transportation Willingness to work Saturdays and dealership hours as scheduled Benefits Competitive pay DOE Health insurance Dental and vision insurance Paid time off Employee discounts Opportunities to grow within the dealership Friendly Powersports is an equal opportunity employer.
