Managing multiple projects of moderate to high complexity, you’ll define clear deliverables and success criteria, build robust timelines, anticipate and mitigate risks, and keep teams aligned and moving forward. As the central integrator, you’ll bring together diverse functions—R&D, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and more—to ensure every milestone is hit and every launch is executed flawlessly.With projects that often touch intricate supply chains and fast-moving consumer trends, your ability to lead, influence, and think several steps ahead will be critical. Success means delivering outcomes that consistently exceed expectations in quality, timing, efficiency, and strategic impact—ultimately helping our brands make a stronger, more sustainable difference in the world.AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITYLeverage business acumen to understand market and category dynamics to optimize business resultsManage projects from Ideation through Commercialization, Launch, and Post Launch Phases. Develop timelines, key milestones, and risk/mitigation plans.Develop and manage detailed project schedule to meet launch commitments in each country defined in project scopeManage projects according to SCJ processes and best practicesAssure all appropriate cross-functional subject matter experts are engaged to deliver key subprocesses and milestones required for the project, with focus on meeting cost of sales, capital, quality, and customer service metrics for the project (including first arrival date and case fill rates)Provide project leadership within a regional cross functional team to drive the full End to End executionTrack project progress against deliverables/milestones, issue status reports, and escalate breakdowns and issues as necessaryMaintain Project Documentation (Project Management system, StageGate Documents, Risk Register, Issue Log, OneNote, Close Out Report, etc.) as neededManage communication plan internal to team and external to team (Stakeholders, Sponsors, and Executives)Model strong R&D functional skills, including appropriate skills in effective communication, financial acumen, integrated risk management, project management, quality, robustness, regulation & safety, scientific rigor, and technical curiosityApply root cause analysis and problem-solving skills to identify the most critical factors that impact successful project implementationDraw on functional expertise to enable successful commercializationQUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of experience in project management, with proven track record of delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives on time and within budget with at least 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, specifically supporting functions such as purchasing, production planning, distribution/logistics, product development, and/or commercialization OR Master’s Degree with at least 3+ years relevant work experienceMust be authorized to work in the United States now and in the future without sponsorshipPREFERRED:Project Management (PMI) or Supply Chain (APICS) certificationExperience in Project Management in consumer package goods development, manufacturing, purchasing, planning, distribution and/or commercialization.Experience in new product launches, contract manufacturing, and financial analysis as it relates to operationsExperience to interface, lead and build relationships with multiple levels and functions internal and external to the corporationAbility to motivate non-direct reports; keep teams working well togetherAbility to operate in a complex, non-structured environmentPossess clear and concise communication skills/collaboration skills, especially across countries; orchestrate effective meetingsPossess key attributes including creativity, adaptability, persuasiveness, perseverance, and strategic thinkingDemonstrates a high degree of initiative and excellent problem-solving skillsJOB REQUIREMENTS:Full-time positionThis role is in Racine, WI (Sam's West Campus)4 days a week in-office requirement, 1 day a week remote - after 90-day onboarding periodThis role is not offering relocation assistanceTravel approx. 10%BENEFITS AND PERKSSC Johnson’s total compensation packages are at or above industry levels.
