Summary This position is located in the Department of Health and Human Services, Immediate Office of the Secretary, headquartered in Washington, District of Columbia. Responsibilities WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY As a Supervisory Management and Program Analyst, you will use your knowledge of and experience to optimize business results and customer experience by: Providing leadership, subject matter expertise, and advice on operational planning, processes, policies, and management systems. Overseeing the IOS budget, tracking expenditures, adjusting allocations, and planning ahead to avoid running out of funding for mission critical activities. Preparing comprehensive reports of evaluation findings that document conclusions and include appropriate recommendations to the IOS Executive Officer. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Minimum Qualifications: You must have one year specialized experience to perform successfully the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service performing ALL of the following: - Leading or supporting operational planning and program management activities, including developing policies, procedures, or management systems and evaluating program effectiveness. - Managing or analyzing organizational budgets, including tracking expenditures, adjusting resource allocations, and preparing budget justifications or financial reports. - Conducting analyses and evaluations of programs or operations, developing performance metrics, and providing recommendations, briefings, or reports to support decision-making.
