About the Position

Job Title: RN Telemetry I Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Rotating Shifts (Days/Eves/Nights) Hours per Shift: 36 hours guaranteed Experience: Minimum of 2 years working in one location and 2 years working as a Traveler License: Current RN License Certifications: AHA Certified BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Ability to read telemetry strips - Experience with cardiac telemetry and cardiac drips - Proficiency in interpreting telemetry strips - Knowledge of TRBands and high-flow oxygen Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse in a Medical Telemetry Unit. It is a 41-bed unit that provides care for cardiac, respiratory, metabolic, psychiatric, substance use disorder, genitourinary, and gastrointestinal patients. Travelers are required to float to applicable units when needed. Shifts will rotate between days and nights. The clinician-to-patient ratio during the day is 1 to 4 or 5, and during evenings and nights, it is 1 to 5 or 6. The electronic medical record (EMR) system used for charting is EPIC. Candidates should possess the necessary certifications and have experience as outlined above.
