Executive Chef Chinese Cuisine

As the Executive Chef Chinese Cuisine, you will play a vital role in leading the culinary department with a specialized focus on authentic and contemporary Chinese cuisine. Key responsibilities include overseeing the preparation and execution of Chinese menu offerings, ensuring adherence to proper cooking techniques, flavor profiles, and presentation standards. You will support the development of daily menus featuring both traditional and innovative dishes while maintaining consistency, quality, inventory control, and ordering processes.

Experience with authentic and traditional Chinese cuisine required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manages cost controls and controls expenditures for the account
• Plans and creates all menus
• Purchases and manages inventory
• Rolls out new culinary programs in conjunction with marketing and culinary team

Preferred Qualifications:

• Culinary degree preferred
• Experience with authentic and traditional Chinese cuisine required
• Strong working knowledge of regional Chinese cuisines (e.g., Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan), with the ability to adapt traditional techniques to high-volume production
• Strong technical foundation in wok cooking, sauce development, and traditional Chinese preparation methods
• High volume production and catering experience is essential
• Previous experience managing cost controls
• Desire to learn and grow with a top-notch foodservice company
