This includes, but is not limited to, review and analysis of all account activity, obtaining documentation for all transactions, thorough investigation of unfamiliar transactions and correction of errors. Communicate all material discrepancies and potential issues and adjustments with appropriate team members and/or leaders.Prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheet, income statement, statement of cash flow in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, as assigned.Participate in the annual year-end audit by preparing audit workpapers.Maintains communication with the Accounting Manager of any issues, new developments, and status of job duties.Contribute to departmental and Health System objectives by working collaboratively and consistently demonstrating professionalism, cooperation, and effective work habits.Actively participate in process improvement initiatives through team involvement, problem solving, and support of the Health System's commitment to continuous quality improvement.Perform other assigned duties and special projects, which may include preparation of tax returns, daily cash reconciliations, maintenance of capital asset activity, risk insurance coordination, and community benefit reporting.QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree in Accounting.Two years of accounting experience, preferred.Healthcare experience, preferred.Proficiency with current digital productivity tools and technology, including spreadsheet and document tools, data visualization and reporting platforms, and enterprise financial and general ledger systems.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Ability to move freely (standing, stooping, walking, bending, pushing, and pulling) and lift up to a maximum of twenty-five (25) pounds without assistanceJob classification is not exposed to blood borne pathogens (blood or bodily fluids) while performing job dutiesWORK ENVIRONMENT:Collaboration and interaction with department team members, leaders, and healthcare providers throughout the organization.Work may be performed remotely, in a hybrid arrangement, or in a climate?controlled office cubicle setting, with occasional movement throughout the facility.Scheduled Weekly Hours:40Scheduled FTE:1Location:ThedaCare Corporate Office - Neenah, WisconsinOvertime Exempt:YesWorker Shift Details:Days
