Grants Financial AnalystThe Grants Financial Analyst is responsible for the financial management, compliance, and reporting of federally funded grants and programs. This role ensures adherence to federal regulations, grant terms, and organizational policies while supporting program leaders with accurate financial data and analysis throughout the full grant lifecycle.Job Description:Remote Work AvailableJob Responsibilities:Manage financial operations for federal grants, including budgets, expenditures, cost allocation, and funding drawdownsEnsure compliance with federal regulations, including the Uniform Guidance (Title 2, Code of Federal Regulations, Part 200)Prepare and submit required federal financial reports (e.g., Federal Financial Reports)Reconcile grant activity to the general ledger and federal payment systemsSupport internal and external audits, including Single AuditsAssist with grant budget development, forecasting, and variance analysisCollaborate with program managers and internal teams to ensure financial accuracySupport grant closeout activities and documentation retentionQualifications:Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field3–5 years of experience in federal grant accounting or financial administrationKnowledge of federal grant regulations and financial reporting requirementsStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsProficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft ExcelPreferred Qualifications:Experience with healthcare, nonprofit, government, or higher education grantsExperience with federal agencies such as Health and Human Services, Justice, Housing and Urban Development, or EnergyCertified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) credentialFamiliarity with indirect cost rates and cost allocation plansKey Skills and Competencies:Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsHigh attention to detail and accuracyAbility to manage multiple grants and competing deadlinesStrong written and verbal communication skillsKnowledge of internal controls and audit processesWork Environment:Office or hybrid work environmentPeriodic deadline-driven workload tied to reporting cycles and auditsScheduled Weekly Hours:40Scheduled FTE:1Location:ThedaCare Corporate Office - Neenah, WisconsinOvertime Exempt:YesWorker Shift Details:Days
