SUPPLY PLANNER

Type of Employment Full time – Exempt. Workplace Schedule Type: Hybrid. Position Location: Irvine, CA. Background & Purpose of the Job The Supply Planner is in charge of developing and executing the supply plan for SEB Professional North America to ensure optimal inventory levels and on‑time supply while minimizing SLOBS, cost, and complexity. The role ensures KPIs are met and identifies opportunities for continuous improvement through cross‑functional projects. Responsibilities Identify possible gaps in the business plan to proactively define and implement countermeasures ensuring budget targets achievement in terms of net sales, inventories and customer service level. Ensure stock availability for assigned SKUs and products. Manage the full‑cycle purchase order process, including tracking and follow‑up. Review and manage purchase requisitions. Maintain and improve master data. Support and/or take ownership of management reporting. Escalate stock availability issues with suppliers/factories. Look for opportunities and actions to meet KPIs and department objectives, including proposals for continuous improvement. Manage safety stock, lead‑times, customer/supplier collaboration to maintain the right level of stock availability. Manage SLOB (obsolete & slow movers) by developing an action plan and collaborating with other departments. Understand and manage product life cycle. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a planning role. Strong sense of urgency and customer centricity. Strategic long‑term vision with the ability to take calculated risks. Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills. Team player with a LEAN mindset, seeing opportunities rather than problems. Advanced skills in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint). Experience with SAP or another ERP system. Compensation and Benefits Salary range: $70,000 – $80,000, commensurate with experience.
