FAA Assembly Mechanic - Level 1

Job Overview PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking an FAA Assembly Mechanic – Level 1 in Phoenix, AZ. Responsibilities Construct and assemble mechanical components, ensuring they meet quality standards and specifications. Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment, and conduct tests to verify functionality and safety. Identify parts that require replacement due to wear, damage, or malfunction. Place orders for new parts as necessary to maintain operational efficiency. Operate a powered industrial truck as required. Work under immediate supervision, following pre‑established guidelines, and report to a supervisor or manager. Lift up to 30 lbs without significant repetitions. Comply with overtime approval requirements and wear required safety gear, including steel‑toed footwear. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred; apprenticeship or formal training is a plus. 0–2 years of experience in the field or a related area. Familiarity with commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field. U.S. citizenship is required.
