About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President of Finance to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes across multiple entities. This role requires a deep analysis of performance against budget and prior periods, with a focus on delivering actionable insights. The VP of Finance will also oversee financial reporting in collaboration with accounting leadership, evaluate investment performance and asset allocation, and support tax strategy and estate planning initiatives. Additionally, the role involves leading ad hoc analysis and strategic projects for executive leadership. Applicants for the VP of Finance position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' of finance and accounting leadership experience, with a strong background in FP&A and financial statement expertise. Experience in complex, multi-entity environments is essential, and a background in family office or investment is preferred. The role demands a candidate with a working knowledge of tax concepts, particularly in the areas of income and estate. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, capable of leading and executing financial initiatives that align with the company's goals.
