Flathead Harbor Resort is seeking an energetic, dependable, and passionate Line Cook to join the culinary team at the Harbor Grille. Our waterfront restaurant serves guests from around the world with fresh American cuisine in a fun, team-oriented atmosphere. The resort also features a marina, boat tours, lodging, and event spaces, making every day unique.

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards
• Set up and stock food stations before each shift
• Prepare ingredients including chopping, slicing, portioning, marinating, and seasoning
• Ensure all meals are prepared accurately and served promptly
• Maintain food quality, consistency, and presentation
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations
• Monitor food inventory and communicate supply needs
• Keep workstations, equipment, and kitchen areas clean and organized
• Assist with receiving and properly storing deliveries
• Work collaboratively with chefs, line cooks, prep cooks, servers, and management during busy meal periods
• Support banquet, catering, and special event food preparation as needed

• Previous line cook, prep cook, or restaurant kitchen experience preferred
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and commercial kitchen operations
• Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
• Strong knife skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Dependable with excellent attendance
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Food Handler Certification is a plus (or ability to obtain if required)

• Stand and walk for extended periods
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Frequently bend, reach, twist, and lift
• Work safely around hot surfaces, grills, ovens, fryers, and kitchen equipment
• Perform repetitive food preparation tasks throughout the shift
