We’re searching for a talented and driven Project Controller to join our team! Your Day-to-Day: Prepare and submit monthly owner pay applications in accordance with GMP contract requirements. Compile and reconcile supporting documentation including schedule of values (SOV), change orders, lien waivers, and certified payroll (if applicable). Ensure compliance with contractual billing terms and conditions. Monitor billing status and follow up on outstanding receivables. Monitor project costs against GMP budget and schedule of values. Reconcile committed costs (subcontracts, purchase orders) to budget. Assist in cost forecasting and monthly job cost reporting. Support project manager with cost-to-complete analysis. Review subcontractor pay applications for accuracy and contract compliance. Process subcontractor payments in coordination with Accounts Payable. GMP & Contract Compliance Track contingencies, allowances, and general conditions in accordance with GMP terms. Ensure proper documentation for audit and compliance purposes. Support internal and external audits related to project financials. Maintain accurate project financial records and contract documentation. Partner with Project Managers and Operations to review financial performance. Participate in monthly project review meetings. Provide financial data and reporting to leadership as requested. What You’ll Bring to the Table: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 8+ years of project accounting experience Previous experience in GMP contract environments and large-scale construction projects. Knowledge of AIA billing formats (G702/G703). Experience preparing owner pay applications and managing subcontractor billings. Advanced Excel skills.
