About the Opportunity An established manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to take on a broad, hands‑on Human Resources role supporting a workforce of 300+ employees. Reporting directly to executive leadership, this position offers significant autonomy and visibility across the organization. The HR Generalist will serve as a key resource for employees and leadership, with responsibilities spanning benefits, employee relations, HRIS administration, workers' compensation, compliance, onboarding, payroll support, and day‑to‑day HR operations. Key Responsibilities HR Operations & Employee Support Oversee daily HR activities and provide support to a workforce of more than 300 employees Serve as a primary point of contact for employee questions, HR concerns, and benefit‑related matters Manage employee relations issues with discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment Respond to employee needs promptly while maintaining a positive and supportive employee experience Partner directly with executive leadership on employee matters and HR initiatives Benefits, Leave & Compliance Administer employee benefit programs and coordinate benefit changes Lead and support the annual open enrollment process Assist with workers' compensation and short‑term disability administration Support leave administration and related employee documentation Maintain compliance with applicable employment policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements Maintain complete and confidential personnel records HRIS, Payroll & Reporting Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation within the HRIS Utilize ADP for HRIS and payroll‑related activities Support payroll processes and ensure employee changes are accurately communicated and processed Maintain HR reports, workforce information, and employee data using Excel Manage manual tracking and reporting when necessary to ensure accurate information is available to leadership Employee Lifecycle & Process Improvement Coordinate onboarding activities for new employees Process employee changes, transfers, and terminations Maintain accurate documentation throughout the employee lifecycle Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, reporting, documentation, and overall efficiency Manage multiple priorities independently while adapting to changing business needs Qualifications 3–5+ years of progressive HR Generalist experience Hands‑on benefits administration and employee relations experience required Experience with workers' compensation, leave administration, onboarding, terminations, and HR compliance Manufacturing, light industrial, or comparable workforce experience strongly preferred Experience supporting a sizable employee population; 300+ employees preferred Experience using an HRIS; ADP experience strongly preferred Strong Microsoft Excel skills and comfort working with HR reports and employee data Demonstrated ability to work independently while managing a broad range of HR responsibilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills High level of discretion when handling confidential and sensitive employee information Strong judgment and problem‑solving abilities Comfortable operating effectively when priorities shift and situations require independent decision‑making Demonstrated career stability and strong tenure in previous positions Must be comfortable working 100% onsite in Orlando, FL Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements The Ideal HR Generalist The ideal candidate is an approachable, employee‑focused HR professional who can also confidently manage challenging employee situations and communicate directly with senior leadership.
