Key Responsibilities of the HR Generalist Manage day‑to‑day Human Resources activities for a workforce of 300+ employees Administer employee benefits and serve as a primary resource for employee questions and benefit changes Coordinate and support annual open enrollment Handle employee relations matters with professionalism, confidentiality, and sound judgment Support workers’ compensation and short‑term disability administration Maintain employee information and HR documentation within the HRIS Utilize ADP for HRIS and payroll‑related activities Maintain HR reporting, employee data, and manual tracking through Excel Support payroll processes and ensure employee changes are accurately communicated and processed Coordinate onboarding, employee changes, and terminations Maintain compliance with applicable employment policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements Respond to employee questions and resolve HR‑related issues in a timely and empathetic manner Maintain accurate personnel records and confidential employee documentation Partner directly with executive leadership regarding employee matters and HR initiatives Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, reporting, documentation, and overall efficiency Operate independently with limited supervision while managing multiple competing priorities Qualifications for the HR Generalist 3–5+ years of progressive HR Generalist experience Hands‑on experience with benefits administration and employee relations required Experience supporting workers’ compensation, leave administration, onboarding, terminations, and HR compliance Manufacturing, light industrial, or similar workforce experience strongly preferred Experience supporting an organization or employee population of meaningful scale; 300+ employees preferred Experience working with an HRIS; ADP experience strongly preferred Strong Excel skills and comfort maintaining HR reports and employee data Demonstrated ability to operate independently and manage a broad HR workload Strong written and verbal communication skills High degree of discretion and ability to handle sensitive employee information Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to operate effectively in an environment with changing priorities Demonstrated career stability and strong tenure throughout previous positions Must be comfortable working 100% onsite in Orlando, FL Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements Who Thrives as the HR Generalist The ideal HR Generalist is approachable and employee‑focused while still being confident enough to handle difficult conversations and partner directly with senior leadership.
