Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a full spectrum of ultrasound examinations, encompassing abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process, providing clear information about each step of the procedure
• Work collaboratively with radiologists and referring practitioners to generate high-quality diagnostic images
• Manage and maintain ultrasound equipment, reporting any performance issues promptly
• Document all procedures diligently while maintaining patient records within our electronic medical system
• Continuously update knowledge of ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• A completed CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
