General Liability Pre-Suit Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks a dedicated attorney to serve as a Pre-Suit focused Attorney in Seaport, New York. The role involves managing pre-litigation work and guiding clients through the case process, with a focus on general liability cases. Duties Handle day-to-day pre-litigation work. Complete the Flip-to-Lit approval process. Guide clients through the case process. Draft and file pre-litigation documents. Oversee settlement negotiations and demand package formation. Manage the release approval process. Lead a team of 6-10 Case Managers. Drive compliance and KPIs among the team. Conduct EUOs, PIP statements, and recorded statements. Requirements Law degree from a fully accredited law school. Active member in good standing with the NY State Bar Association. 1+ years of experience in general liability or personal injury. Ability to manage a high volume of pre-litigation cases. Excellent client service and communication skills. Strong leadership skills. Self-starter driven by long-term career goals. Superior writing and oral advocacy skills. Education Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Certifications Member of the New York State Bar Association.
