Clinical Informatics Specialist

Supporting clinical and interprofessional caregivers in the effective use of information technology, the full-time Clinical Informatics Specialist will work remotely, primarily from Wednesday to Saturday, focusing on the implementation and optimization of clinical technologies within a healthcare setting. Key responsibilities Act as a liaison between clinical practice and Information Services to enhance the use of Epic and other clinical technologies Provide 24/7 remote support to clinicians and caregivers, ensuring effective adoption and utilization of clinical information systems Promote understanding and integration of information technology in healthcare through training and support initiatives Required qualifications Bachelor's Degree in a clinical discipline, Information Technology/Informatics, Business, Education, Management, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent education/experience At least 2 years of experience in a role with similar primary duties involving clinical information systems in a healthcare environment Experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems Knowledge of adult learning principles and their application in a clinical setting
