Healthcare Staffing SpecialistThe Healthcare Staffing Specialist is responsible for coordinating caregiver schedules and ensuring clients receive reliable, high-quality service. This role requires frequent communication with caregivers and clients to manage schedules, resolve staffing issues, and ensure accuracy and continuity of care.The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, responsive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where schedules and priorities can change quickly.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and maintain accurate caregiver schedules based on client needs and caregiver availability.Fill open shifts and respond promptly to call-offs, schedule changes, and staffing needs.Communicate frequently with caregivers regarding schedules, assignments, changes, and expectations.Communicate with clients to confirm schedules, address concerns, and ensure services meet their needs.Proactively identify and resolve scheduling conflicts and coverage issues.Maintain accurate scheduling records and document changes, communications, and staffing activities.Monitor attendance, punctuality, and assignment status and escalate concerns when necessary.Work collaboratively with internal teams to address staffing and client service issues.Provide professional, responsive, and solution-oriented service to caregivers and clients.Maintain confidentiality and follow company policies and procedures.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Previous experience in scheduling, healthcare, client service, staffing coordination, or a related field preferred.Excellent communication and client service skills.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to multitask, prioritize, and respond effectively to changing needs.Comfortable working with scheduling software and computer systems.Ability to remain calm and professional when handling urgent staffing situations.Schedule RequirementsThe Staffing Specialist is scheduled to work 30-36 hours per week, which includes one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) and a few weeknight shifts.
