Schedule: 24-hour in-house coverage | Dedicated Hospitalist Role

• Full-time dedicated OB/GYN Hospitalist position
\n
• High-volume practice with approximately 80 deliveries/month
\n
• 24-hour in-house coverage for Labor & Delivery, OB/GYN triage, and ER calls as needed
\n
• No separate physician call expected
\n

• Provide comprehensive hospital support for OB & GYN patients in a busy inpatient setting
\n
• Manage approximately 80 deliveries per month
\n
• Collaborate with a community healthcare partner ( FQHC ) and midwives
\n
• Serve as a regional referral resource for GYN patients
\n
• Daily rounding on post-operative and postpartum patients
\n
• Work within a multidisciplinary team including:\n

  • Anesthesia
  \n
  • NICU
  \n
  • Midwives
  \n
  • Hospital and community healthcare providers
  \n
\n
• Collaborative care model focused on patient safety and community health
\n

• MD or DO
\n
• Board Certified in OB/GYN — Required
\n
• Active Iowa medical license or willingness to obtain
\n
• NPDB Self-Query Report pulled within 30 days
\n
• Clean malpractice history strongly preferred
\n
• Candidates must have U.S. Board Certification
\n
• Malpractice history must not include cases requiring probate or ongoing supervision
